The Jordan Society for Organ Donation was established in 1997 under the chairmanship of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah. It is headquartered at the Prince Hussein bin Abdullah Center for Urology and Organ Transplantation at King Hussein Medical City, Amman - Jordan. It is currently chaired by HRH Prince Raad bin Zeid, Chief Chamberlain (Prince of Humanity).
To achieve a Jordanian society that recognizes the importance of organ donation as a noble humanitarian value, striving to save lives and alleviate patient suffering.
Spreading the culture of organ donation in Jordanian society and working with partners to provide a legally, medically, and socially supportive environment for donors and recipients.
Encouraging citizens to support one another to alleviate the suffering that may be caused by the loss of a human organ.
Encouraging the guardians of deceased individuals to donate organs that can be used to save another human life or improve their quality of life, such as the heart, kidneys, and corneas.
Highlighting the importance of organ donation among citizens through specialized lectures prepared by medical specialists, religious scholars, and community opinion leaders.
Supporting scientific research related to organ transplantation.
Working to highlight living examples that embody the importance of organ donation through media campaigns across various channels.
